History
Tiffany purchased her first pair of chinchillas as pets shortly after graduating high school. She began breeding chinchillas as a hobby and to just own them as pets. After attending her first chinchilla show in 2008, she revamped her breeding herd as she realized her breeding pairs weren't considered breeding quality. Thanks to the wonderful ranchers that were still in the business at the time, she was able to start over with a top quality show herd. Her chinchillas have bloodlines from top breeders and ranchers including La Paloma, Ritterspach, Ryerson and Shoots to name a few.
Tiffany has attended shows all across the United States and shown hundreds of chinchillas in order to develop the proper eye for breeding high quality chinchillas.

In 2020, the Tiffany's Chinchillas brand name was changed to Carolina Chinchilla Ranch. The ranch offers standard gray, black velvet, mosaics, ebony, pink white, violet, sapphire and blue diamond recessive mutations. She has expanded to produce angoras now as well. Mutations are all bred back to top quality standards in order to increase quality in the offspring. She does not breed for curly, champagne or black pearl mutations.
Mission
Tiffany's focus in breeding is to produce top quality, healthy and friendly chinchillas for you to enjoy as part of your family - whether they're pets, or to possibly start up your own breeding herd, the right way. She devotes her time and whole heart into each individual animal born.

Chinchillas have become her life long passion and educating the public about proper care and quality of the species is her main goal. Thank you for visiting the web page and hope that you enjoy the site. Come back often for updates and specials. Education is the key - there is a large difference in a pet quality chinchilla and breeding quality chinchillas, but wouldn't you want the best quality animal even as a pet? Whether you're here for a family pet or to learn how to breed, find a mentor who actually knows what they're doing and ask many questions and you'll go far.
